Ronda Green WOA Inspirational Award
Victoria Mancinelli is the Director of Public Relations, Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for the Labourers International Union of North America (LiUNA), Ontario Provincial District Council and the Region of Central and Eastern Canada.
Victoria drives impactful change in social impact and industry advancement, championing unionized labor in all communications. Her versatile role encompasses media, branding, public outreach, government relations and advocacy, shaping dynamic campaigns for the membership of LiUNA and their families.
Collaborating with government officials at all levels, policy makers, industry leaders and community organizations, she strives to enhance and broaden opportunities for empowerment within marginalized communities, social and economic causes related to women and girls, enhance career building pathways in skilled trades and related sectors and strengthen economic development. Her leadership was recently recognized by Mohawk College as a Distinguished Fellow and as received recognitions in business, community and skilled trades categories.
Victoria sits on numerous boards focusing on safety, equity, job prosperity and opportunity which include; the Ontario task force for women and economy, chair of the LiUNA Women in Trades Department, Fero Inc, LiUNA Indigenous Department, United Way Women’s Committee, A Coalition for a Better Future and various others.
In response to her leadership for action and advocacy against gender-based violence, Victoria has been the recipient of numerous recognitions including the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award, the CIBPA Woman of the Year Award and in 2022 unveiled the Victoria and Friends Emergency Shelter in partnership with Interval House of Hamilton for women and children fleeing abuse, violence and human trafficking.
Over the past year, Victoria has demonstrated courage and moral clarity to extend her advocacy into action against hate, bigotry and the rise of antisemitism in Canada. Her efforts have been recognized by the Hamilton Jewish Federation Presidents Award and a recipient of the Spirit of Hope Award from the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center. She is a staunch and fearless advocate and trusted ally of the Jewish community and a passionate leader for the betterment of community building for all.
With degrees from the University of Toronto and Humber College, Victoria blends her academic expertise with a dynamic career in public relations and marketing.
