Leslie Richmond
The Vera Finkelstein Women of Action Community Honouree
Leslie Richmond is an active community leader whose deep commitment to the Jewish community spans more than two and a half decades of involvement with UJA and other charitable organizations. Professionally, as President & CEO of Oakdale Investments and Wentworth Parking, Leslie manages a diversified portfolio that includes financial, multifamily, and parking assets.
Currently, Leslie serves as Co-Chair of UJA Federation of Toronto’s Major Gifts Campaign and is a member of the Israel & Overseas Committee. She is also proud to serve on the Boards of Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) and National Women’s Philanthropy. Past Federation leadership includes serving as a Board member of both UIA and UJA, and as Chair of Women’s Philanthropy and of the Community Campaign. Leslie is also an alumna of JFNA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet.
Actively involved with North York General Hospital, Leslie serves as a Board member of the Foundation and Vice Chair of the Governance & Inclusion Committee. She is once again Co-Chairing the Hospital’s biannual Heart of Fashion Gala. Other current philanthropic involvement includes Canadian Friends of Sheba Medical Center and the Yahalom Foundation.
Leslie holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. She and her husband, Darren, live in Toronto and cherish their close-knit family of five children, a son-in-law, and a baby grandson.
